March events in Cranford Park

Saturday March 4. ‘Hidden Cranford Park’. Spring is on the way, so why not join our first guided walk of the year? Join Bob Barton, Secretary of Cranford Park Friends, who will lead a 90-minute, free guided walk around the park, highlighting lesser-known features and some curious facts. The park is full of mystery, legend and mysterious places! Meet beside the car park at 11am (TW5 9RZ). No need to book. Approx 90 minutes.

Saturday March 4 (evening). There are still some tables remaining at our informal Quiz Night. Cost £6 per head (reduction for teams of up to 6). Bring your own snacks and drinks and join the fun. Starts 6:30pm at Crane Community Centre, Fuller Way, Harlington UB3 4LW. You can reserve your place by replying to this.

Sunday March 12. Secret Garden Opening – 2:30pm until 4:30pm. Come and help us prepare the garden for spring or just for a look at the well and vine; meet the volunteers. Tools and refreshments provided for volunteers. This is our first session this year… from now until the summer we meet on the second Sunday of each month (note new times). Come and join us! Situated next to the stables and courtyard (TW5 9RZ).

Saturday March 25. River Crane Walk 2 : From Bulls Bridge to Hanworth Road. Our friends at FORCE are leading a walk along the River Crane. Today’s section incorporates Cranford Park. It starts at Bull’s Bridge at 10:30am, lasts until 3:30pm and you must book – please visit http://e-voice.org.uk/force/ Note this is not a CPF event.
